Led by playwright and Artistic Director of Machias ACT, Daniel Reynolds, students will explore acting, improvisation, storytelling, movement, and voice while building confidence on stage. Participants will work together to create scenes and develop performance skills, culminating in a final presentation for family and friends. Offered in the spring and fall, with a more intensive Summer Camp version offered in the summer.
Daniel Reynolds is a painter, playwright, director and storyteller whose work explores the
emotional landscapes of people and places. Drawing on experiences from international travel, theatre production, and community arts leadership, his work moves between stage, page, and canvas to tell stories about connection, memory, and the search for meaning. Whether through paintings, plays, or novels, Reynolds creates work rooted in curiosity, collaboration, and the belief that art can illuminate the extraordinary within everyday life.
