Faith Stage Downeast presents "Ruth"

Milbridge Theatre is proud to host Faith Stage Downeast's production of "Ruth". The musical can be seen right here in Milbridge on August 8 and 15th at 7pm, or on August 9th and 16th at 3pm. Tickets are $12 per adult and $8 per child.

This show is a biblical rendition of the book of Ruth. It tells the story of a Moabite woman who forsakes her heritage to cling to her widowed mother-in-law, Naomi, and the God of Israel. Through Ruth's display of loyalty and love, she is recognized by Boaz, a near-kinsman redeemer of Naomi, who saves them both from a life of poverty and shame. Ruth is a timeless musical with beautiful songs that the whole family is sure to love. ​We hope you'll come and enjoy the show.
